In Cabin Nitrous Gauge Mount and Protective Cover

Here is a picture of my Gauge mounting position. It eliminates the need for a remote bottle opener too.

Here is a picture of the Gauge cover.

Not with the cover partially open and my dirty underwear peeking out. My Son donated it, its his old gym bag.

Makes for a short nitrous line too, I used the old nitrous gauge line its about 6 ft long, just the perfect length.

That's a cool setup Jim. Do you just use that car for the track? What about when people want to ride in the passenger seat?

Its my main car, the wife drives the 97 and we use it for trips etc. There is enough room for feet on either side so its not too uncomfortable.

I know this is oldish, but could you turn it sideways without worring about the pickup tube?

If you put it right up against the seat sideways with the bottle valve facing you, it would be more convienient to open/close and less obtrusive to the passenger.

Or what about behind the drivers' seat, since you can reach it easily and still have a front passenger? You'd still be able to somewhat use the pressure gauge.

I did have mine mounted sideways in the 97 right behind the rear seat so I could reach it through the passthrough in the rear seat. Don't really like to do it sideways because of the pickup. Its ok when full but for the last 3 or 4 lbs it gets dicey.

Was also going to put it in the backseat this year too initially but I can see the gauge easier in the front and I could also use my 6' nitrous line vs the 18' that comes stock with the kit so less wastage when shutting on and off.

Actually I took the wife in it a couple of weeks ago and there is plenty of room on either side for your feet. I also cut a hole in the side of the bag for the gauge so now the bag stays on all the time, even when racing.
