My best 1/4 to date is not the best I can do in my car so keep that in mind. I think I should at least get 14.3 out of it as it sits now....

So with a 14.3 best NA with a 50 shot what do you think that will bring it down to??? 13.8?

 

I think that you should be able to 13.8 with a 50 shot. That is if you can launch right.

 

why not 100 shot? Guaranteed to be lower than 13.8--->whip that WRX.

 

It's all about the launch and your shifting ability. I'd say 13.8ish sounds good. Good luck sprayin a 100 shot without slicks, you'll soon find out it's difficult enough with just a 50shot.

hmm Erik did 100 shot on street tires.

and besides, those crazy turbo people (300ZX TT, supra T, WRX, VR4, etc etc etc) run on street tires, although some of them experience more than 100 HP when the turboes kick in around 3000 RPM, played out with a boost controller.

maybe they are lowered or have better suspension to hold those horses than maxima?

look at the cars you named...all RWD or AWD..i think thats the main difference....hard to launch FWD spraying out of the hole
