Fnally got a chance to take 97 5speed with a 75shot NX, y-pipe, and frankencar intake down to the track. I was there for 4 hours and only got to run twice(that sux). So on my first run i staged and hit the nitrous in first and my clutch just slipped so i let off and hit it again same result slipping clutch. So I ended up coasting through the finish at an amazing 65mph. This doesnt happen on the street though usually just cant get traction. So my second run i dont start spraying till the very top of 2nd the clutch still slipped a little then too. This resulted me with a 14.2 at 101mph. This is frustrating because i know if i could spray in first not have the clutch slip i could be down in the mid 13's. Anyway i plan to go to the track again with a 50 shot (hopefully i can spray in first and not have the clutch slip) and hope to break a 13.9. Do you guys think this can be done?
