i have a leak in my main nitrous line right where it goes through the firewall. is there anyway to "fix" the nitrous line or do i need a new line? if i do need a new line can i get the nitrous line out of jegs? please help me

 

Get a new line DO NOT $%#@ with that. Not sure where to get one but don't mess with it.

 

thats what i figured but i thought i'd ask to be sure.(money is kinda tight these days)
the story is i went to the local 1/8 mi track last night and just ran the 35 shot. i could'nt believe it. it lowered my e.t. almost .9 sec and gave me an extra 6mph!!! in the 1/8 mi!!!( i'll post my slips or have someone host them for me) anyways after the second run i was on my way to the timslip booth and i heard a hissing noise then my feet got really @!$%ing cold then i realized what it was. thank god it was just a little leak!!! i just bought the kit about a week and a half ago do you think it would be warranteed???

 

Sounds good on the times.

The warranty would probably depend on what cut the line. If it was the hole in the firewall that was drilled or had rough edges I think you are SOL. They would probably examine it pretty closely to determine the cause. If it was a manuf defect I am sure they would replace for you.

 

you were almost 1 second slower but faster? Sounds like you still respect your clutch... Play hard.

get a new hose. use a grommet if you want to go through the firewall...

I would get a race hose intead of the SS from NX, those are nice lines =]
