I happened to be browsing their web site and saw that they sell kits from NOS and NX. Knowing what kind of reputation Pep Boys has, does anyone here think that their techs could properly install one of these kits?

 

i doubt they would warranty work like that, and i wouldnt trust them to set it up...

The only way my car makes it to a shop is if its for something my friend and i cant do, like balance/mount tires on a rim/alignment/exhuast work or something oddball like that...i simply dont trust mechanics

do it yourself.

I dont trust anyone, especially a dirty no good pep boys mechanic high on weed.

 

I got to agree, I would not trust anyone to install NX on my car unless they had a lot of experience with maximasand/or they were doing it for free and I could peek over their shoulder. After installing the kit, it is very easy to do just lots of wiring
