you could always browse the board, this issue has been gone over dozens of times, but
it depends where the probe is mounted.
you need to get more familiar with what your car does N/A
then judge it when on the bottle.
It shouldnt get much hotter.
Try taking the car to the top of second, third if you can safely
and then do the same run on the bottle and compare

Floor it and spray and see what your EGT reads. Compare.
You want your readings to be close together. If your reading w/nitrous is cooler than without then you are running rich on nitrous. If your reading w/nitrous is warmer, then you are on the lean side.

I assume you are talking about 1500 farenheit. No, that's not deadly hot, you're at full throttle and you're at 120 mph. It doesnt matter if you are with or without nitrous, your fuel pressure will be adjusted properly if you are running a dry or a wet kit.
I'm usually at 1400 F at the end of a quarter mile run at the track.

so then it should be about right then. i'm pretty sure i wont be seeing 120mph on a track anyways. so are you at about 1100 to 1200 farenheit going down the highway 60-75?
