ECU upgrade posable with Nitrous!

This is a qoute that i read from NX

"All NX stage 1 EFI systems are designed to operate with stock fuel pumps with no timing retards. If you have an aftermarket ECU chip that advances the stock timing, detonation could be a problem. These chips can be retained if higher octane fuel or NX power booster fuel additive is used."

I would not run an aftermarket ECU with the NX kit. The only Nitrous ECU I am aware of is the JWT chip and that is designed to be used with teh NOS kit.

Will a Nitrous kit at a very low spray work with my setup?

I have a g-force ecu. I do not want to get more than 25hp to 35hp out of the Nitrous. Just a little more power, and only when I need it. This will make my tank of Nitrous last longer and be a minimal impact on my engine. As I understand Nitrous mostly reduces the temp in the intake and the air coming in. So at a very low spray I would think that it might work? Any ideas.

i have had BAD experiences running nitrous with a JWT ECU in both my max and my se-r back before she was a GTI-R. Running high enough octane to safely spray is expensive and i was always wondering when it was going to blow. I would not do it because I always had to run really high octane(you never know when youll need to embarass someone on the street. I finally blew the motor in my se-r, but that was intentional. And my max was really acting weird before i took off the NOS kit the last time. She's fine and running NA.
