Help Setting up Nitro in Atlanta area

Is there anyone who is familiar enough with Nitro to help setup my system if I were to purchase one?

I am ready to go for a very low shot (30 -40 hp) on my car.

I think if i mix my fuel so its more than 94 oct. I should be fine even with my g-force chip. We will see...

I thought I might fight the detonation possibilities with cleaner fuel 94 octanes? I don’t want a huge increase in power. My car is fast already. I do want a small shot though.

Everywhere I look people say "stay away from Nitrous if you have an after market chip". Well at low spray how much different can it be than running in extreme cold conditions? I just want a little extra pep when needed. And I am not afraid to try and install the kit myself. I would just like someone to give me some guidance.

What is the lowest shot you can run? 25?

Do you have any recommendations for me SonicDust187?

You should have gotten the jwt ecu with nitrous program. Only thing I would have to say that the advanced timing even under a small shot would cause you problems.

Yea,thats what i hear, but I did not have a major game plan when I started to pay you know. My second car is a porsche turbo S. puts about 300 RWHP down, and is light as hell, so I need to at least be able to handle these little ratty cars around town in my daily driver you know. I like my G-Force ECU too much to loose unless i can S/C the car so its always there. I know better than running a turbo on it. I already have one of those the porsche.

Thanks for your info everyone.

I think if you run the higher octane, and colder step spark plugs u should be fine.

cuz like i read to you on the phone the NX book says it should be fine if ran with high octane, and an additive (the one they make)

The call is all yours, but if in dought like I told you also u could always give up the ECU for the nitrous and just run a higher shot. If something pulls up to you, you can run him all motor and have your nitrous armed for in case, and if needed im sure spraying in only 1 gear, possibly 2 would be enough to smoke them. So I feel nitrous is not a waste at all, and in a way its always there too.

But just let me know if your still intrested in buying or trading

Ok, Thanks Chris. Let me think on it

Here is a novel idea.

What about having 2 ecu's. I stock and one g-force. Create a switch so that when you arm the nitro you automatically switch to the stock ecu. When you switch off you go back to the g-force. That should not be hard at all. There is only one end that wires plug into for the ecu and you just need to split off that signal to accomplish it.

Has anyone ever done anything like this?
