Dry Kit Fuel Pressure Rising After I Let Off The Gas
Dry Kit Fuel Pressure Rising After I Let Off The Gas
Well, I just installed the NOS Dry kit last weekend and got the bottle refilled today. Went out for a test run and disconnected the 2nd solenoid to see if my fuel pressure got bumped up enough (50 shot so .32 nitrous jet and a .42 bypass jet). My FP went up to about 52 at WOT then when I got off the gas it jumped up to 62ish (which it shoudl be at with the .42 bypass jet) then jumped back down to the stock non-nitrous range.
I believe its my fuel pump thats the problem. But I just wanted to make sure its that. I remember reading something like that here on the forum but I can't find that same thread.
Any advice would be helpful! =)
But yeah I guess I'll just have to order the walbro pump and an aftermarket fpr. What do people recommend for FPR's? sxr7 (sp?) isn't selling the SARD anymore, huh?

I found the post where DCMax had the same problem, he changed his FP and FPR to fix it.

Right now I'm running the Walbro pump with no bypass jet (Iron Lung is doing the same) because I can't get a large enough jet to drop the pressure to where I want to be. Without a bypass jet at all I still get 72psi, and with a .042 bypass jet I get about 95psi.
