Installed new fuel TEE

just got a new TEE to replace the NX 1/4" tee and this tee seems to be like 3 times the length. The length made it impossible to install using the stock line so I went out and bought a couple feet of new fuel line because Its impossible to get the stock fuel line to connect without bending the line to about 90degrees which would kink the line and block flow. I managed to make a loop so that the curvature would be as smooth as possible to allow flow. Just wondering how all you other NX guys routed their TEE? did you have to do what I did and use a longer fuel line? BTW I have a 300ZX fuel filter if that makes any difference

I bought an additional length of hose. Connected it to the top of the filter and then connected it to the tee and then the other side of the tee to the stock line. I did have to also curve the line slightly and zip tied it so that it was secure. As you know, make sure you use fuel line clamps.

If you are using it for a wet kit get the 0-60 for more accuracy. Gauge shouldn't read any higher than 43 psi. However with a dry kit you need at least a 0-100.

Turbo and S/C run higher fuel pressure than stock as well.

i will install it under the hood, not on top. i ordered ATM-2179 from auto meter. it's only 1 1/2" gauge.

I keep mine on an 18" length of fuel injection hose then I can read it under the hood or put it next to the wipers when I am at the track.

Hey Jime:

MY FP is reading around 41 at idle and around 48 at WOT. Any reason why this might be....bad gauge etc?

I guess I can get a mechanical gauge to test it to ensure it's accuracy.

Any ideas?
