Do you need a go button if you're using a window switch?

NX kit comes with a WOT switch which can be bypassed if you want to use a GO button.

The window switch will only allow you to spray between certain RPM's.

for simplicity sake, the WOT switch and the window switch will work well together. You are only spraying when the throttle is pressed to the floor and you are between certain RPM's.

Some people will use a GO button so that they can choose when they want to spray. I am of the opinion that NX sends the kits out with a WOT switch to protect inexperienced drivers.

Awesome. I was thinking that WOT switch and Window switch would be a good combo, just didn't know for sure because I haven't seen a setup with just those two and no go button.

thanks!

While we're on the topic, I might as well ask. I have an auto and am considering an NX wet kit sometime in the future. My idea was to have an arming switch, a WOT switch and possibly a window switch. Would the window switch be an effective way to safeguard my transmission? If I was to set the window switch to stop spraying between shifts, it should take quite a bit of strain off the tranny right? I already have the drop resistor mod btw.

The NX Wet kit comes an arming switch and a WOT switch. The window switch you would have to buy separately, and yes it would be easier on your transmission, that's a given. It is questionable how much it will do, as some say that a WOT switch without a window switch (I.E. spraying between gears, unless you let off the gas, which no one does anyway) doesn't harm your tranny to any significant levels.
