Love nitrous but hate Underpowered motors!

Ever since ive been running my 75 shot of nitrous on my 4th gen 5 speed with Cat back, Intake, and Y pipe i have never lost once!

I praticly blow the doors off of everything i have raced. I love it!!

But becuase of this i try not to use it as much and race cars all motor if i can. My buddy with his 2002 maxima 6 speed with intake and exhuast just got nitrous on his too...

We raced all motor the othere day and im barley taking him. I wish there was a way to get more all motor power that wont be affected by me running nitrous... stick to stick im a better driver so thats why i belive im tweeking out these wins. But off the bottle is there any othere way...?

Has anyone ever figured out how to run 2 ecu's and make a switch to go back and forth from an advanced timing ECU to a stock one?

Small mods like High flow cat, UDP...they even worth it?

a 2k2 stock with intake and exhaust are faster than 4th gens, he must be a bad driver.

Alright, i might invest in one. Sonic ive seen one of your post about your idea with a ECU that advances your timing , but then retards it with spray.... any update on that? My idea was to plant a Advanced one on top of my stock one...and swap them out depending on what im racing...but that would take too long..

Then i thought of going to a junk yard and cut the peace off the harness that goes into the ECU and tap all the wires into mine threw a relay switch, so i have the choice of what ECU i want to run.

just an idea

Your idea has been discussed a while ago and it was understood that the ecu would not learn the cars characteristics fast enough when switching from one ecu to another on the fly.

No one has really provided the information that I was looking for about having just hte timing retarted on an ecu in n2o mode instead of running colder plugs.

BTW: Do you have a stock clutch and cat you spray in first gear? Cause my clutch gives out in first and I just spin. I can only spray from 2nd on. When ever I try to spray 75 in first I burn my clutch that it slips for the next few hours and chatters.

Ok well when i said i run the 14.3 thats all motor....i have not got to test the nitrous at the track but i have had some chances to test it out on the street.... yes when im at a complet stop and launch in 1st gear with the nitrous, it lights up the tires.... so NO i dont spray in 1st off the line, i wait till i hit 2nd. Now i have tryed a 1st gear roll with nitrous... the tires did not light up, i was able to keep traction but i do have aftermarket rims and wider tires...the only problem with this is, it FLYS to red line and u have to praticly shift the second u floor it.

oh yeah and yes im on a stock clutch, mine holds fine...its a Sachs...and yes im also on a stock cat.
