First Nitrous install...any suggestions?

I am finally geting Nos tomorrow, and it is a dry kit. I am changing to 1 step colder plugs, and I have done a few mods. Are there any specific things that I should do to add a 70 shot. This is my first nitrous install, but I am not a newbie with working on cars. I have been a professional car stereo installer for 12 years, and have performed all the mods to my car so far. I plan on doing a few cool switch setups, and I left room in the trunk for the bottle next to my Subs. I am confident that I can hook everything up right, I just don't know if I should get something that will let me mess with the timing (if available), or some guages. I have seen a multitude of stories about whether I should upgrade the fuel pump, but I think I will try to see how it does before I change from the stock one. Any thoughts or suggestions will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

For a dry kit I would get a fuel pressure gauge and a EGT gauge. Prolly want a bottle pressure gauge also.
