Finished install.. hose tear? Sparkplugs?

Just finished installing my first nitrous-oxide kit. It is a used EFI import kit, and took me about 10 hours to install over a span of 3 days. I had to pick up a lot of small universal parts though (since they were missing from my used kit), and I was very particular on solenoid and nozzle mounting so that most people can't tell I have nitrous. Anyways I would say it is a relatively easy install that most beginner-intermediate mechanics can do without any problems.

I am a little worried about the fuel pressure hose though. The factory one has a little tear up top and I am worried that when I spray it will rip off. What should I do? I already used the Teflon paste on it. It seems fine during idle, and I haven't really driven the car yet.

Also, what plugs should I get with my 50-shot. I never plan on going higher, maybe lower eventually though to a 35-shot. I don't mind spending money to get a plug that will save me heartache and perform well. I know coppers plugs are cheap and reliable, but what about Iridiums? Has anybody had any problems with them yet?
Thanks,
-Cyrus

I think that is what I'll do, especially considering it will run me less than $7 for all the plugs. Only disadvantage is that I will have to swap these plugs out every 30k (or less now that I'll be spraying nitrous-oxide) miles.

Will I notice any performance loss when I'm not spraying?
Thanks,
-Cyrus

I used NGK Iridiums for about 7 months before I swithced to copper. I noticed no difference at all in performance both NA and boosted. I only switched because I went with a higher shot and wanted the added security.

Because the line is an absolute b*tch to put on, that being if I can put it on. I would have to unbolt a lot of wires and lines to get to it.

Looks like I'll go with coppers now.
Thanks guys,

yea those lines can be tough, I had to redo mine about 5 times but after a few cuts on your wrists and some swearing it will become a piece of cake to do.
