If its what I think it is, it would be defiantly worth it. cuz it would give us the advantage over superC and turbo maximas... yeah there dynos will show more HP but all that power hitting the ground is to much traction issues. Whats all that power good for if you can use it. If we can control our nitrous threw out the gears that means consistent pull hard off the line and have no traction issues, so we would have the advantage on the street, and street tires.

..I think

I haven't had a chance to mess with one of them, but from what i know you can set it for any shot in any gear. It has all kinds of features and really is a sweet little unit.

I think you may be better off with a Jacob's Nitrious Mastermind.

Christ man use the same keyboard you use to make these post to google search it. It is the exact same thing as NX has tried to do, but Jacob's had been around for much longer with an impecible track record. Then if you want to still spend and run like a pro dragger look at Deadenbear(sp?-but close) for less than the NX maximizer.

The jacobs are multifunctional 4/6/8, look on the net for greater detail on the applications they are practically unlimited. If i were you i would try ls1.com and a ford forum of some kind. Ask hem about the jacobs.

i guess if you really want to fine tune your system so you're repeatable every time get the maximizer. I would only get it so I could limit spray and keep traction, but then have it running full blown when I'm high in the revs.

But if I'm just going to use it to control traction, I'd rather spend the same amount of money and go dual stage: 1st stage on WOT switch at about 35 shot and maybe the 2nd stage on the button additional 50 shot. Dual stage would be a lot more fun too, but you won't get repeatable times unless you're very coordinated under pressure. (e.g. bracket racing)
