Cheater Nitrious Kit, on Ebay!

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...tem=2455661844

What do you guys think of this one. You put the little nos Cartradiges in the opener with the handle, run the line from the handle in the cabin, to the intake in the engine and push the button, crack open the nos and spray for one time use a 35 shot? What do you think of that one?

Im sceptical if this really works or not.

Tell me what yall think!

they make those things for gas powered RC cars... i'd be a little skeptical about a 30 shot out of a BB gun CO2 canister.

True, thats the only thing I could see that would be false. Unless them Co2 canisters are packed with nitrous, I dont see why it wouldnt work.

man i think you misspelled some thing, do you think it will work or not?

I think it should work but to me i dont belive things that just sound to good to be true, like $50=30hp. Check around some other forums cause i know people have this.

Here is the Email I recieved back from the seller. I asked the seller if this really works, and if its universal and what not, heres what he had to say.

The kit is universal. It will fit just about any car
or truck on the market. The kit is typically good for
a few tenths on the quarter mile or a quick squirt to
get you ahead of someone that your racing. Of course
if you want more, you can upgrade this kit. The tubing
simply connects to the intake tract. You want to have
it installed about 6 inches in front of the throttle
body and after any air meters. I hope this helps.

Hey bro. Will this kit work for a Nissan Maxima?
Even though it says for Toyota, is it universal? I
take it the hose connects to the intake right? Does
the Kit, REALLY WORK? I dont see why it wouldnt, but
How good is it? Im very intrested! This has me
beliveing it is possible and I couldnt see why its
not. If it is, I could have a few more customers for
you also Thanks man

Nick

Intresting. I might just get it to give it a shot.

Guys with Frankencar midpipe. You can get a breather for the cankcase, and slip that end of the line into the tube on the mid-pipe. Not a bad idea though.

You will BARELY feel a 35 shot, especially due to the miniscule length of time that bottle will spray. Worthless.

here is an email from a guy that bought the kit from another user, that said it was a 60 shot. I emailed him while reading the guys feedback, he actually has DECENT feedback.

Nick,

It works pretty good in my car, I don't know if it really adds 60 horses, but it kicks pretty damn hard and sounds pretty cool. When you hit the nitrous it makes a loud hissss. I don't think its as good as a full blown NOS or NX system, but It's worth $50.

Daniel

Heh, for 50 bucks, why not?

It might be able to spray a 30 shot, but for how long?.. one, two seconds at most?

cartriadges for making home made whip cream... no2 canisters that looks exactly like that. or for the drug usage as well. any "high scale" super market or head shop has them. i have never seen them at auto part stores before

i've raced RC car for 8 years, and run a couple nitros....never seen a nitrous kit EVER for them.

if you ran 60 HP worth of nitrous without adding fuel your gonna run lean and probably misfire or something

That kit sucks a$$ my buddy got one just like it for his civic and it sucks big time. The little bottles just make you want more and more. That little thing last for about 2-3sec's and that is it.

Ahhhh, so that is what its main intention is. But It actually does work then eh? I talked to that dude on AOL IM he said his Does work on his Neon (lol) and said it dropped him about 3 tenths of a second in the 1/4. He said it sprays for about 5 seconds and you CAN actually feel it. hmmmm, now I see why the kit is so cheap, so you can spend mad money on buying the little bottles. Well, thanks for the truth man

Id rather just roll with real nos.

they offer you a bigger bottle for 50-60 bucks on that page, but you are still running a shot without more fuel, its a bad idea
