Tell of your most exhilarating nitrous moment

copied from the tc'er and sc'er page....modified for the nitrous folks....

have any of you ever had that moment when your just happy to have squeeze.. here's mine..
It was actually the first day when we JDMMAX and I got done installing the nitrous in my car. I headed home (this was a 4AM), got on the freeway and I was just cruising along, when this 67-68 Mustang 302 tried to mess with me. So we are side by side, and arm the system, down shifted to 3rd, and floored it. I pulled hard on that Mustang, maybe 2 or 3 cars. After I passed him, I shut off the nitrous, and coasted down to a normal speed. The face on the guys face was priceless............Then he gave me the thumbs up..

well without telling a story of street racing, all I will say is it involved a NX 75 shot, a 2004 V6 accord, a Lancer Evo VIII, and I-459.

Right now I am wishing two things
1) that I could see that video, &
2) that you were coming to the SE Meet so that I could line up against you.

I'll see if I can get it hosted later, and what meet are you talking about? I'm back to the all motor ballgame for a little while so no more spray for me. I will have something a little better in due time. It might be a while but it will be faster

uhhhhhh at a track meet.
i been running an 80 shopt for a while. decided to install the 100shot jet and 2 step colder plugs.

bottle pressure was at 1200 IIRC.
i launch hit the nitrous system a 3000rpm. (i usually hit my kit at 2500) tires immediatley broke loose torque steered to the right. oh **** let off the button let auto shift to second. hit it again get thrown back into the seat. for about 2 seconds then i feel massive power loss car lurches foward. here something clanking through my exuast. made a 17 second pass(i just coasted teh rest of the way) i blew toast 5 sparks plugs. the last one looked brand new.

First trip on the highway, with the bottle opened, lead to some interesting revelations....First car that was worth playing with was a red EVO with some chick driving...Anyways...60-120 I was out in front by between 4 and 6 car lengths when I started to slow it down. Next was a 95-96 Pony car with no chance in he!! to keep up with me....then it started to snow, so it was time to cool it.

Where to begin?

The first time I punched a 75 and broke traction in 3rd, I couldn't help but get that WOO HAH! feeling. I went cruising and saw a young guy driving a CL Type-S 6 spd. We tried racing but there was traffic and figured, meh, no big deal, I'll find someone to race with before my destination. Well, he knew I wanted to race, followed me onto the highway, and we went for it.

It wasn't even funny. I pulled SOOO hard on him. We lined up side by side at about 100km/h, and I was in 3rd. We did the 3 honks and went. As soon as I hit the fun button, I didn't just walk on him, I ran on him. As I blew threw 4th and was going pretty fast now, I slowed to about 120km/h as he was doing about 150km/h and catching fast. As soon as he came up side by said, I'd floor it and punch it again. He'd get about a half car ahead, and I'd blow him away again.

A couple weeks later, I tried a 100 shot. I ran against a Talon TSi with 19psi. Here's a vid of the run.

Just right click and save as. It's uploaded on geocities, so there is bitrate max that will occur if too many downloads happen within an hour.

I don't know what stage the VB is, but it sure seems to work real good. I bought it from another .Org member a couple of weeks ago. I drove it home tonight and it was smooth and fast through the gears. I need to refill the bottle this week, and I'll let you know what it's doing.

whenever I have a 55 shot, 1st gear and big slicks at the same time. OMG that is a good feeling to cover 60 feet in under 2 seconds and only launching at 3200 rpm.

and...

getting my 13.6 timeslip.

I just ran the car with the G-timer, and I clicked through the 1/8 mile on the timer at the same MPH as I ran stockin the 1/4. Whoa...86 MPH in 1/8th. I ran the car a few weeks after I bought it, and it ran a 16.07 @86...This trip to MIR tomorrow should be nice. I may even put in the bigger jet tomorrow.....hhhmmm....BIGGER....
