I'm gonna be hitting 13's soon!!!

Well after having a bad day at the track (16.1 was my best time with y-pipes, and pulley) , I was convinced by my Friend/mechanic to go with NOS.... telling me our car can handle a 100shot of it, and that most likely I'll be hitting 13's. I plan to get one of the following parts every month, with a update on my 1/4times, at the track. I dont really like using Nitrous, but its just for now, later on I will get a S/C or swap to a 5spd Here is what I have to add:

CAI Intake: comes in friday
Tranny Cooler:
VBmod:
NX Express:
JWT ECU: for Nitrous use

What do you all think?

I think you are about to blow your engine before you hit 14's with a 100 shot.
Yes a 100 shot can be run through our engines but you will need some tuning and also some more pars. I believe you may also need to get a better fuel pump with that shot.
I would be safe and run a 50 shot instead. Get some gauges, and keep it safe.
You will be in the 13's after some fine tuning, and practice

A 16.1? Hmm...I dunno that you'd be hitting 13's even WITH a properly tuned 100 shot...I mean granted you're an auto and auto's pretty much suck NA; and although auto's are better for nitrous I'd say you wanna brush up on some driving skills first.

If I were you I would get all the NA mods first, then work from there. I was under the impression that the JWT nitrous ECU only works with their NOS dry kit, not a NX wet kit. Might want to look into that, because with a regular JWT ECU, you advance the timing, which is the opposite of what you want to do with nitrous. With a 100 shot, you will need a bigger fuel pump, and a bunch of gauges. You should read the nitrous FAQ at the top of the page. Also, without traction, with your 100 shot you might actually run alower than NA because your tires probably won't hook up very well. You seem like you're jumping into this without much thought. Take your time man. You don't f- around with nitrous. Also, you should always start with a small shot and work your way up. With a 50 shot you won't need a new fuel pump or as many gauges. Plus, traction will be much better. Oh yea, you should work on your driving skills before you do anything else.

I'm done.

Yea work on your driving skills and launches before you do anything else. 16.1 is horrible for a 4th gen w/ ypipe, even if it is auto. Also, make sure your car is up to par in maintainence before you start running nitrous, ESPECIALLY a 100 shot.

Oh, I forgot to say that you should get a compression check to make sure your engine isn't already on its way out.

I really hated the auto tranny until tonight. I just installed my VB and WOW what a difference. I think you should go get a performance computer, and practice your launches. Until you are under 2.40 second 60ft times, the rest doesn't matter. The times at the track really just show how well you can get off the line. You might be able to run with anything from a rolling start, but getting out of the hole is the key. If you work on you 0-40mph you will get a good idea of where you stand to go back to the track and make a good pass.

Mine is stock too.

These guys are right, you should try and get into the high 14's or low 15's before you even try spray. Also like mentioned earlier get a compression test.

Muchas gracias, sorry guys yes I got a little hot headed here, I've talked to a some friend who run NOS, one of them runs a max with nos, and yeah he told me we have to get fuel pump, and slicks if I want to hit 13's or so. I wanted to know, if I go nitrous will my motor setup be slow, due to the fact am running nitrous, or will be running the same as before?? Also what can't I use on my auto***it when and if I use NOS???
