nozzle filter?

I hope this question has not been asked too many times here... I can't search, I scanned the FAQs and the last month of threads. So...

A buddy of mine is getting a dry kit for his 98 SE. He was talking about getting the filter that has the nozzle built into it. This way, he does not have to drill into the intake. I have seen these on the net but I have never heard much about them.

While I can see his point, I'm concerned that spraying before the MAF will cause problems such as damage to the MAF, flooding, hydrolock?

Does anyone know if this is OK to do?

Thanks!
D

An Ebay intake is only like $30 so drill into it, not the stock one.

Don't spray before the MAF.
