First spray at the track today...

Finally made it to the track with the 50 shot. I ran a 13.969 @ 98.53MPH. I had a blast out there today. I really have to get used to launching without any spin. I was able to get down to 2.228 60 ft, but I think I can get much better. I need some better tires, and I may get a VLSD. I think i am going to look into picking up the Walbro 255 fuel pump, and then I'll move up to the 75 shot.

Street tires, going bald, and launching at about 2200 RPM. NOS is on as soon as I go WOT.

Unfortunately I did not try to run it with out the juice. There was over an hour wait between each run, and I didn't want to waste it on a N/A run. I will try to get the answers to that the next time I take it to the track. The only other time that I ran the car was when it was bone stock, over a year and a half ago, and that was horrible. I didn't know how to drive the car then, and pulled a 16.07 @87MPH or something like that. I didn't even powerbrake that run. I just hit the gas when the light turned yellow and spun the tires a little, on the way to slowness. I think I will try to get up to the track again in 2-3 weeks. I may try the 75 shot then too. I had a leak in the purge kit after the second run, so I had to disconnect it for the rest of the day. I need to go fix it in a couple hours.

Which nitrous kit are you using? Are you measure the nitrous shot to the wheels or crank?

Reason being I have very similar modifications to you (minus the VB mod), and I would be VERY happy to get times like that. I am expecting a 14.5 actually.

Tapout, congrats on the time. Sounds good!

Do you have any sound clips of your car? I am looking at your WSP/Greddy setup and may be interested in that myself.

Thanks/Congrats!

I don't have any sound clips, but I am very impressed with the Greddy sound. It is deep and throaty, but is never too loud. It gets a little louder as you get on it, but it never seeme to get louder than it is at about 3500rpm. I highly recommend it. I am using the NOS dry kit I think it is 5024??? I'm not sure which Kit it is. I bought it used from Requin6. I know you can run a 75 shot with the stock fuel pump, but it is not safe enough for me. When I'm going to the track, I'm taking the whole family. I don't want to have to call a cab for a ride home from 50 miles away. You really risk running lean with the 75. I have ordered the fuel pump and hope to have it in early next week. I will also be getting the guages to keep an eye on it over the next month or two. I am going to use the Greddy guages and the triple guage pod from Custom Maxima. F/P, EGT, Nitrous guages are coming soon. I think I will try to get it to the Dyno later this Spring.

i ran a 75 dry shot for about three yrs with no fuel upgrade. just make sure your fuel pump is working correctly and the car is in good running condition and you should'nt have a problem. don't run over that unless you have it dyno'd to make sure your not running lean..p.s are you running wet or dry.. check my set up http://members.cardomain.com/whoamax
