Anyone tried this NX kit? Honda NXL B16A/Type R
Nitrous Express introduces the "NXL" nozzle with Integrated Rail Technology. This plug-and-play, direct-port nozzle system is available for four, six, and eight cylinder applications. There is no drilling required, no engine disassembly and no solenoids to mount. The entire nitrous system is self-contained in the high-flow fuel rail. Systems come complete with bottle, jetting, custom insulated ditribution lines, and all installation hardware. This hi-tech direct port system comes with a wiring harness for a true plug-and-play system.
That would be pretty good if it truely is that simple. Anyone try it? Maybing going to put that on my Maxima, but man is it expensive. Than you got to get a bottle heater, remote bottle opener, high flow nitrous valve,, quick release straps.........
Probably looking at close to $1500-1900 when all that is said and done, but it would be a sweet kit.

Just get a kit such as the NX wet kit and the parts to go with it (fuel pump, gauges, etc) and you will be able to get all the power you will want from that for a lot cheaper. Use the spare money for dyno tuning time.

It would still mount in before the throttle body but after the MAF like the dry kit right?
It would have been nit to do the new kit, but at least I could save some money and tune a less expensive kit.

Been there and done that route. Not to bad for power output, but man is it expensive if you can't do it yourself due to lack of time, tools, or mechanical knowhow or certainty in your ability. Putting on a Y-pipe, or exhaust system is one thing, a SC or TC is quite another in that if you throw a SC belt you are screwed- time to get a tow.
Figure $800-1000 for installation. Maybe that much to install the new SC pulley if you want more boost since you basically have to take the whole kit off. Talking $$$$
If I were going to be speding $1500 to 2000 on a nitrous kit, rest assured it would be top notch- direct port wet, dual bottles, bottle headers, high flow bottle valves, and remote openers. I was looking at the Zex with that type of build up, but I know how good NX reputation is. Wish they had it more user friendly website though
At least with N20 you can install it yourself and if the nitrous system fails or quits working you still have your Maxima's power to go back on.
