Too bad the search is down.

Don't bother trying to setup a dry N.O.S. or Zex kit on a 2k2 or 2k3 Maxima. It requires too much extra work and parts than it is worth. I know because I wrote the book on how to make it work and now I literally recommend it to no one. Get yourself a single fogger Zex or NX kit and be happy.

I'm running a 50hp dry shot. Only mod needed for my dry system was an adjustable fuel pressure regulator. Works great ever time I use it. I have my fuel pressure set to 55psi @ WOT. Stock is 43psi... I'm not exactly sure how the fuel system setup is on a 02 or 03 put if it has a fuel return line to the tank then that's all you would need for a dry system to work. most fuel rail systems incorperate a fuel return line. Some do not?

The only Nissan left with a fuel return line is the VG33 in the Xterra. And I am just guessing on that one still having it.

Wow

WOW, Someone actually thinks I have no idea what NOS is, well instead of writing it all out like this: Nitrous Oxide System i just abbreviated it to NOS. I know there are different companies that have setups.

I have a dry kit, and I'm currently using a 75 shot jet. I started with the 35, then went to 50, and I just put in the 75 last week. I ran 13.9 with the 50 shot, and bald tires. Now I have new tires, and the 75. Next trip to the track should be interesting.

I am currently running a 125 shot with a dry kit (NOS). I second SR20 in that it was a VERY expensive setup due to the lack of a fuel return, however I was able to do it (again thanks to great diagrams from SR20 )

i can understand for a high shot like you are using, but why would you need a fuel return line on something like a 60-75 shot dry. the only thing required is a fpr vacuum to control the fuel pressure. i have done a few like that but not on a 2002 and up please school me.

If you want schooling talk to SR20Den..he wrote the book on doing the setup, and I just followed what he did...I am sure he can answer your questions

we were thinking about doing my brothers 2002 with a dry shot possibly with my old set-up but i didn't know that there were complications so before i attempt it i need to find out.

C Max the fpr is in the fuel tank on the 2k2 as it is a returnless system, so you cannot hook up to the vacuum to control fuel pressure.

Matt ran another pump etc to boost the pressure for the dry setup.

thank you jime. yes i noticed after carefully looking at the car that there was no fpr so i called stillen and im waiting for a tech to get back to me.
it doesn't seem that complicated not just as easy. maybe we might just go wet.

Without the fpr you have no way of boosting the pressure for the dry kit without having an external pump of some sort and it really complicates things because you also have to add a fpr and return back into the supply line to control the pressure.

Wet is much easier on a returnless system, plus you aren't taxing your injectors with the extra pressure.

With the ZEX and the max, if you have a dry kit cant you just get a WET solenoid and hook it up ? someone was explaining this to me.

yeh the same with the stillen dry kit. you have to get the solenoid to spray the fuel and parts that go with it. i will probably go wet also once i finish experimenting with the dry set up.
