new to nos have a zex kit

i have a zex dry kit that was installed in my 99 max . my question is im runing a 55 shot but i have a stock fuel pump will that be ok do i need to up grade on any thing on the fuel side

55 shot will be ok, but play it safe and get gauges to monitor your setup just incase your running too lean..

nos is a brand name, so is zex, you are new to nitrous and have a zex kit. its like saying your new to Dell's but you have a Gateway. just for future reference.

I'm not exactly sure how the ZEX kit functions, but I think it control's the amount of nitrous & fuel based off the nitrous bottle pressure. If this is the case I don't think you would have to worry about going lean with the recommended jetting unless something go's wrong with your fuel supply. I have read that people say the stock fuel pump is safe up to 75 or 100hp shot. Keep reseaching the other post's & you'll find more info about what the fuel pump can safely handle to be sure.

I believe Zex kits have some sort of a computer module that will limit the flow of nitrous if the car is running lean, basically. I wouldn't want to go higher than a 55 shot without gauges though.
