70 shot help [noob questions]

Ok, tomorrow my warpspeed y and catback are going in along with new spark plugs and a tuneup.

I just got an offer for a 70 shot NOS kit for 250 bucks, is this a good deal? I do know the guy and he is actually a mechanic. ( is it really a good deal? or do you guys have a better deal that i could get online that would be better for the max?)

But my question for you that are intelligent and know what you are doing
(because im a newb and just started to read up on NOS.)

What am i required to invest in running a good function motor [with hopefully many miles more... i have 117k right now] with this kit? I am scared of all the rumours of it ruining your engine because i need this max to last.) Help me out please!! Also...is it ok to run the platinum ngk spark plugs with a 70 shot or would i seriously need to upgrade..?

Greatly appreciated for any replies and helping me out,
bennny

It is a dry kit setup, forgot to add that :P

What year is your car? I have a 99 with 123K, and I'm running 80 shot. You can change the jet to a 50 shot and run with very little changed. The spark plugs that you want to run with nitrous are the copper 1 step colder from NGK. You would want to buy a .032 jet for the 50 shot. To be "safe" at 70 you should at least have the Walbro255 fuel pump. Good luck.
