nozzle install question
nozzle install question
When I drill the hole to install the nozzle does it need to be behind or infront of the little sensor that measures intake temp? I thought that it might need to go behind so the ecu will send more fuel because the nitrous will be cold when it passes the sensor. thanks
The order of my setup is MAF, Nozzle, then the temp sensor. I think I should change it because spray just isn't making much difference, i think the bottle was pretty low (a friend lent me his) I filled it yesterday and plan on going to the track saturday night.
thanks for any more info.

yea it has to be min of 6 inches from the TB plate
OK people, I am wondering since i have a short ram intake like on ebay for my max, should i put the nizzle in the rubber boot that goes between the MAF sensor and the mid-pipe??? Or should i drill and tap as far away as i can get without going into the rubber boot, so that the nozzle is in the mid-pipe????? It is a Zex Wet kit.... Also what size of shot should i run to be safe around town screwing around.. As compared as to what I can run at the track on a basicly all stock motor???

Stick with the stock jets (probably 75 and lower) until you get more familiar with the system and know what your pump etc is capable of.
Even a 35 shot is a real kick in the shorts.
PS I had one setup where I drilled the TB and installed the nozzle so thats BS about the throttle freezing. I usually put it so the nozzle is pointing up with the lines going down to make it less visible but its easier to change jets if it points down a bit so when you remove the line the jet stays in the nozzle vs falling out and getting lost if you aren't careful.
