yes all teflon paste goes on all npt threads... compaines say NOT to use teflon paste on -AN threads... but u can use thread lock such as lock-tite to make sure they dont shake loose.

Does the NX tee come with the kit? If so why are you using the HD version?

The one with the kit is only 1/4" and you need 5/16" to match the Nissan fuel hose size.

and good luck, those sizes are a Beeeyotch to get, 3 home depots, and 4 plumbing supply stores later i still didnt get it, ended up with an adapter type thingy to make it the sizes above....which bites......but good luck finding them, i looked in brooklyn/queens and i couldnt find em in those exact sizes....the guy at one of the plumbing supply places says they dont come in these sizes because they arent really practical sizes for plumbing jobs, so they will be difficult to get.....

u can go to hopedepot and match the size of the hoses and barbs, i think i went slightly smaller and clamped the hoses on to death...lol, no leaks no problem, when u install, dont forget how much pressure is involved here, it can get nasty if u dont do it tight enough..

One size smaller? Isn't thats the size that comes in the kit. 1/4 = 4/16, looking for 5/16.

I reccommend using 2 clamps each side and have them facing different directions. (If I ever find the 5/16 adapters, may use the 1/4 in the meantime with a smaller shot)
