To spray or not to spray

I was debating if I should spray my max or not. So...of course best way to determine is to see what everyone else says. So, can I get some feedback, spray, not to spray, wet or dry. And anyone that how was it. Did you like it, what would you do different???

Check out the Nitrous forum. IMO, a 50 shot would be fun and give you a serious power boost only when you want it.

Personally I don't really care for spray in any car, I have always just looked down at it probably because every time I think about it I picture a damn civic owner on the streets that believe their car will beat anything. That and you can blow your engine pretty quick if you don't know what your doing.

Read up on the VQ30 and you'll see that it can handle a 50 shot with ease. You'll need to upgrade the fuel pump before you can blow your VQ.

i guess the common misconception is that it can blow your engine faster than anything. Anything improperly tuned, can do damage to your engine, but all nitrous does is put some more stress on your engine, just as all FI methods..I think nitrous is clean, safe, and fun if used at the right times.

go with a direct ported setup with a venom to control a second stage shot of nitrous oooh yeah...

sorry...nothing wrong with nitrous. tuned properly it will yield on again off again power for relatively little out of pocket expense at the time. (A refill herae and there), there is a little bit of a more violent hit on the internals and tranny due to the explosive nature of the power delivery(IE a turbo spools then delivers power, charger works continuously but builds boost as well, where nitro its BAM heres 50 horses and 120lbs of tq), but these motors seem to be able to handle it. youll be fine with a good tune and safety precautions. I would say go for a rich 50 shot and work your way on the fuel side down with some dyno time to get the result you want.
