Use WOT nitrous switch for drop resister mod?

Can you use the same switch?

I know the nitrous is normally open and the drop resister is normally closed, but any suggestions?

Definately will not work, unless of course you reverse it to N/C using a relay.

So I can use the swich for the nitrous and use a relay for the tranny?

If I use a a hot lead and use the switch to complete the ground through the relay? or just use 2 switches....

You use the switch which is N/O (wrong polarity) to switch a relay which has both N/O and N/C outputs. Connect the N/C output connection of the relay to the drop resistor circuit.

Just using a N/C switch instead is much easier, all I was commenting on earlier was that you could use the switch, however its much more complicated.

Just get one of these micro switches instead, it has both N/C and N/O connections.

Great, so with the above switch the tranny will be connected and nitrous not and at WOT, it disconnects the tranny and connects the nitrous, perfect.

With this setup you will be sharing the common, do you see a problem with this?

Off to radio shack...

Don't think I would share the common to be safe, just use 2 switches, they can be bolted and attached together. It would probably be ok if you didn't connect the 12v to the common but for a couple of bucks use separate switches.

Sounds like 2 switches it is. Thanks, now to finish up the install and get to the track!
