Nitrous doesnt feel like its kicking in

I got my NX kit installed this weekend. I brought it to the tracka nd got my bottle filled, and put in the jets for a 50 shot. I armed it, and as soon as i hit wot i felt a TINY surge, then nothing. i get out, blew the 20 amp fuse on the power wire. i replaced it again, same thing. so i put in a 30 amp, and tried it, it didnt blow the fuse, but i am not feeling the nitrous. I got on the highway in 5th going slow and floored it, expecting i would be able to notice it bigtime there, but nothing really. i hear it spray, but dont feel ****. What could be the problem? BTW, 02 Max. Mods are Stillen intake and NGk 1 step colder coppers.

I don't know what the problem is but you should try to avoid spraying in 5th and 6th. It can put undo stress on teh internals of the engine. Somebody correct me if I am wrong, but I could swear one of the fastest ways to damaging your motor is to spray in an overdrive gear. I would double check your jets, and do a test on teh solenoids to make sure they are opening, with the bottle off of course. I'll take a step back and let the real resident nitrous experts chime in.

Good advice.

I had a fuel solenoid fail recently. Luckily I have a maximizer and wideband which shuts the system off if the a/f goes too high.

NX says the probable cause is a swollen fuel valve stem. I sent it in last week to get fixed.

You can hook up the solenoids directly to the battery to check if they function ok, also recheck your wiring according the manual.

Try it in 2nd gear before you get carried away trying to troubleshoot.

so your saying you had the kit installed but they didnt test it WHY?

is this a wet or dry kit

do you have a bottle gauge sounds like you have no bottle pressure

does the car fall on its face when you hit WOT or does it feel normal NA power

what size jets did you put in IE the little numbers scibed on the side of the jet like .033

spraying in overdrive is stupid. I almost didn't notice when I sprayed in overdrive. In 3rd I noticed it some but 1st and second is where it's at. Other people spray in overdrive but at least they start in lower gears first and work their way up.

you sprayed in 5th gear going slow? You need to study up a lot before even thinking about arming the nitrous again.
