NOS in 6th Gen
#3
I assume you'd be the first if you did so. Should be as safe to run as in the 5th gen, but hopefully there is someone at any nitrous store than can give you some detailed information about running it, and how safe it can be.

Before this gets moved...
I wanna do it, but I will be real new to this nos thing..... I have a few Q though...
#1.. is the part number for the purple bottle #82021
#2.. where can I find this walbro pump for the max.. (I can't seem to find one that says its for the max, or are they one size fits all) this is for the walbro 190..
#3.. site for the fuel regulator
#4.. site for the cold plugs
I know these have been answered before, but they are not all on one thread so searching is difficult..
thanx..

yea the nitrous forums would have better answers. for older plugs I've heard people go one step colder, or 2 steps colder depending on how much of a shot is being sprayed.
I also believe the wlabro is universal, you just have to cut up some wiring to get it to work properly.

I assume the switch will be mounted where the throttle wire is under the engine cover beside the intake on the left there..

I don't think that you are a a**hole. But anyway since you know alot of things. I been reading some treads on nitrous and ppl have been changing their fuel pumps and plugs. Would that have to be done on the '04's? What would the cost be for a good kit with heated bottle and install go for? Later Warren

[QUOTE=savagecat]Since my only hope of beeting Chernmax at the raceway is either a hurricane for a tailwind or a headstart, I was looking at this little gems and just not telling him:
I wouldn't even know which one to pick. I like the first one since you don't have to change the fuel system. You do know that we are the best of friends. I won't tell him. We will keep it a secret until he see this post. Later Warren

Your second setup is the easiest and most user friendly install. I highly recommend a ZEX Wet for a Nitrous newbie. You have a better chance of troubleshooting the system yourself if it goes down on you.

Warren: you should have hooked up with me at the meet, I would have answered your questions. If you plan to stay with low shots (35-50) then you will be fine with stock FP, however I do not know if the newer maximas use a better pump, if they do then you should not have a problem running a 75 shot. Trust me, for your car I think 75 will break traction in 2nd gear. But get one step colder plugs.
#37
From experience, you don't NEED to upgrade your fuel pump for anything less that a 125 shot. However once you hit the 100 range it's a good idea to do so. And I am referring to a 'wet' style kit.
The Walbro is not just an easy drop in. The pump is physically longer than the OE pump and a few modifications have to be made for it to fit and seal correctly.
