How long have you been running Nitrous w/out problems?
I've had mine about a year now and spray a few times a month. I go through a bottle about once a month. I have not had a problem to date (knock on wood). It's definately fun when the nitrous hits, but it sucks to refill the bottle.
Well I didnt have any problems up until today for 2 and a half years. Refilled the bottle toda, running a 50shot, sprayed off the line...after laying down 100ft of rubber (no lie) the tranny was fried. Wont grab in any gears anymore, except 3rd. Dont spray higher shots off the line unless your wiling to risk breaking lots of things even more. I"m so mad b ecause I dont have the money to fix this really, but there isnt any choice at the moment.
its now been about 1 month and so far so good love the spray its great but ive only sprayed at the track so still have my first bottle havent refilled yet but its almost time.
sorry to hear about your tranny venompwr2 thanks for the advice ill definetly keep it in mind.

ive been running a 75 shot on my 90 with no problems all of this and last year. last year i ran about 12 bottles which was about a bottle a week.
this year i ran 3 bottles, so about 15 bottles so far. this year im trying to save money, so im using as little nitrious as possible. taking nitrious from a junky is like putting crack behind a glass wall. its there and you could use some right about now but you cant touch it
I ran nitrous on my Camaro for about 4 years and never had any problems. One time I was running lean and didnt know it. This was due to a fuel pressure regulator that wasnt set right. I was only spraying a 100shot and had a nitrous backfire. It fried my MAF and that was it. I wouldnt say it was because of nitrous. Had I not been running lean there wouldve been no problems.

i've had mine up and running for about a month and a half and i have gone through 6 bottles with no problems. i'm glad that i have a race shop that sells the nitrous for what they have in it, so it cost me about 27.00 bucks a fill up. i'm running a 75 shot and i love it. i have beaten a few v-8's and i'm very close to the 13's. my clutch slipped the only time i've been to the track. i ran a 14.050. no problems here but i did a lot of things before hand to take care of everything once i was ready to install the system. my advice is be careful and think of everything that you could do to prevent anything bad from happening.
I've been useing nitrous for the past month now and had a detonation problem. Melted the grounding strap on cyl 1.
My fault for useing 14lbs injectors with a .034 jet with 80psi of fuel..
Anyways, I changed to a colder plug put in some 17lb injectors and all is great! runs perfect and plugs look perfect but it looks like I could get away with alittle more timeing.
My advise to the first time user is start with the smallest nitrous jets and work your way up, not
by feel like I did but check your plugs every run and adjust accordingly If you don't have a egt gauge or dyno.
Best way to tune right there.
