Best N20 plugs for VQ30?
I've seen Jimes' chart here:
However, those all look like OEM/conventional style ground strap plugs with just a superior "tip". In my searches, the ground strap style seems more important then heat range, since it can't dissipate heat fast enough no matter what heat range and possibly acts like a glow plug risking pre-ignition. I know ZEX makes some kind of N20 friendly plug with shorter ground straps, but it has THREE of them to be possible glow plugs. Also, it seems like a one plug fits all motors and I'm not buying that.
My question is really who makes the best N20 friendly type plug that fits VQ30s, ie short ground strap with a somewhat shrouded tip?
Thanks.

I would change mine halfway through the racing season, not because they were gone, mainly to ensure they were fresh again.
I do the same with oil changes, usually every 4 races, regardless of the mileage or time. Just like to err on the side of caution.
Coppers should last at least a year even while spraying.

Jime, do you gap your iridium plugs? I have read that it's not a good idea to gap them since there is the possibility that the electrode will snap off since it's soo thin. The gaps that are from the factory are 0.042". Close enough since the FSM recommends 0.043" for 2002 Max? Thanks.

Thanks. I'll give it a try.
