thinking about getting spray.

I've been thinking about getting some No2 for my max. Its a 95 auto with 154,500miles and a brand new tranny. So far i have a CAI, Y-pipe, an exhaust. How big a shot should I get and what do I need before I get it?

well that all depends on what you want to get out of the car. my suggestion would be to go with nitrous express wet kit. i say that because that's what i use. the upgrades i made to my car were i used a bigger fuel pump( a walbro 190 would do great, i went over kill and have the 255), i had my injectors re-worked so that they flowed a little better, and then get colder copper plugs. i would say start with a 50 shot to get used to it and then gradually work your way up. i have run a 75 shot since my install and it's sweet. you can go to my webpage and see some videos of my car on spray. i've gotten a 13.96 @100.4 as my best e.t. and that was spinning all the way through first, second, and then into third. do some reading in the stickies and that will help a lot. that's what i did. i installed my set up in one day by myself. it's not too hard just time consuming. have fun and be safe.

I agree, start with a 50 shot like i did. I am also new at it so starting at 50 is good idea. Having gauges is a good idea as well, even if u can succesfuly use nitrous without gauges on small shot its still important to at least be able to know your bottle pressure. im not 100% sure but in my opinion i would change the tranny fluid into synthetic(mobile 1, etc..), if your not going to get VB mod, i suggest you do as i did and do drop resistor modification. Check compression on each cylinder to make sure things are runnin good wit ur car, change plugs to 2 step colder.... and thats my 2 cent.

How do you auto. guys keep from spraying on gear changes?
If you do not; don't the clutches in the tranny burn up?
