Actually the moral of the story has nothing to do with leaving the bottle on unattended.

If that was the case it would have just vented the nitrous to atmosphere when the disc ruptured at approx 2200 psi.

What this idiot did was to put in 2 discs that prevented the safety device from activating. The only thing that went wrong was that he should have been in the garage with it. Then he tried to sue NX for a faulty kit.

Yeah I was looking at that and I couldn't believe that he was actually trying to sue NX for something that was his fault. Some people try to get money no matter what.

My nos bottle says 3k on the disk. It's not really a disk though, it's like bolt.

this is really old!!!! but i have to admit this kinda scared me when i was about to buy my kit lol. the day i was goign to purchase it I saw that site and since i was a n00b i thought it could easily happen to anyone so i didnt get the kit till now lol.

This isn't the 3rd time this is posted? The guy this happened to is like 60 now.

Hey watch it. I will be sprayin till I take the big dirt nap.

60 is young when you race against the V8 guys. However at the Import events I am usually the oldest guy there.

Sorry about that I looked in the Nitrous Section to search if this was posted but couldn't find anything and I know it was old thats what I said when I first posted it.
