Who has tried 100shot without fuelpump or injector upgrades?

Imagin a hammer tapping the top of the pistons.
The louder the more damageing.
Are you sure that it was rocks from the road?
Make another run like that, shut the car off and coast to the shoulder and
check them out.
lol, when I first put on the kit I melted the plugs on the 2nd run.
It was horrable. The guy at the shop told me I'm fine with thiese stock plugs/injectors. I heard some detonation before and BAM it felt like I
hit a brick wall and sounded like I was slideing on my undercarrage on a gravel road. Now that i'm
set up right I know exactly what to listen for.
I'm at a cool 12.5 a/r.

well i kno i run rich. 12.4 all motor, when i dynoed a 50shot for the 1st time it got even richer with a/f almost 12 across the whole run. I assume bottle pressure was low. so that means this highway run i was even richer since bottle pressure was low as well. so it was not detonation.

If you simply "shut the car off" while driving, your steering wheel will lock in place... not a very comforting feeling.
If you must do this, only turn the key far enough to cut the ignition off - and make sure you are in neutral. Keep in mind you power steering and power brakes will no longer be functional, so once you push the brakes, keep your foot there - or else it will become very difficult to slow down.
I'm not trying to be a pest, but that statement terrified me for the sake of the guy who was to try it.

streetz... man... just look at me.... 75 shot with bottle heater stillen FPR stock fuel pump and stock injectors shes runnin like a champ.... 100 shot will be in by friday with the walbro 255

either way i was not goign to try that though but thanx for the warning. I am just going to stick to 75shot and get the best out of it by tuning it, sticky tires, hopefully vi one day etc..... i wanna see to wat limits i can push 75shot.
