2 step colder plugs, 190 walbro...

Last weekend i wanted to spray 100 shot so i already had the FPR and FP theni added the NGK coppers (BKR7E-11) and now when i drive NA my car feels really slugish, just wondering if this is normal for some of you as well, also my car is harder to start. I asked some of my friends about this and they tol dme its common for it to feel like there is a lot of power loss Na, But i just wanted to post and see what everyone else thought when they first did this.. BTW the 100 shot was awesome...

Damn thats cool Man, 100 shot. I Believe from the spark plugs since they are 2 step, there is a power Decrease. It is Normal, from the spark plugs, but from the 190lph fuel pump and FP m not sure, somone else needs to input on that. But i went with 1 step Colder and i felt i slight loss in power N/A.
But hey have you taken ur car to the track>? Any Times?

well i im on 2step colder right now and I havent felt any noticible differnces in n/a power. Have you checked your plugs after running with 100 shot? also, you might be running rich since u have fpr and fp, Maybe your fpr is not set correctly, just things u might want to look at, but as far as plugs with me and other guys on here that iv talked to,they havent noticed too much differnece in power with 2 step colder

It probably is the combination of running rich as well as the plugs, i do know its set correctly (fuel pressure) and the plugs look fine, I just need to get rid of my 150K motor and get the 3.5 sooner!

also something one shoudl check before boosting or nitrous is compression. i checked mine before going with nitrous to see if my cylinders were in good shape and close to spec compression and they were so i went for it. u might want to check that.

He needs a 3.5 motor soon. That motors been thru a lot and I wouldnt be suprised if one of the cylinder has lower compression due running on improperly gapped spark plugs which cuz him random misfires for a good 6 months-1yr. Also when I pulled them out to replace with the 2step, one of them was oil soaked which can only mean a bad spark plug seal (on the rear too so more PITA in changing it out). Kasey, you should just get a new motor and we'll punch it out in a couple weeks and you'll be happy.

I did have them checked tho and they were all okay, although that cylinder 5 pisses me off, but it just seems weird, you know what i mean the 1 step colder worked fine but the two step its when i noticed the lag i guess...

I can't wait for my 3.5 swap, couldn't do it with out you Justin,
