because the safc2 is 2 separate maps. You can have one for NA and one for nitrous. For Vafc2 you can have one map that will cover 24 points which means it's used best for NA.

Why don't you do some more research on this? SR20DEN seems to be the expert in this safc2/vafc2 area, try looking in his threads.

Don't get anything by a word of mouth.

ok get headers for sure!, get the $440 nx kit everyone else has, buy the nitrous progressive control Jime is selling, that **** is awsome, along with a wideband o2, u can set the controller to shutoff your nitrous in fractions of a second incase you run lean or something happens. that right there will cover ur 1400.

Hey smotz

Hey, what was your bottle pressure when you ran 14.1, and what was your 60'. I assume you are an auto right?

5 spd. Pressure was at like 800ish. Still in the yellow couldn't get it in the green.
Tires spun wickedly all through 1st and 2nd. I need to get slicks.

1/4 Mile MPH: 101.160
1/8 Mile ET: 9.243
1/8 Mile MPH: 80.970

I was just curious because i just got 14.6@95, 60' 2.3 this last friday. and wanted to compare. I am auto. I had some spin off the line, and when the nitrous came in at 3k i noticed the car wasnt hooked 100% eventhough i couldnt hear the tires, they are pretty quiet. I am in search for slicks as well. My bottle pressure was at around the same 800-850

Yes i ran on street tires, But i assumed since the bottle pressure was low that i wouldnt brake loose or anything. and i dont spray out of the hole, i have it set to spray at 3k. I guess on my next trip to the track i shall try and spray at a higher rpm on 1st or not spray on 1st at all since ill have a bottle warmer.

Where do I begin? How about with the "NOS" BTW just curious did your camaro have an SS sticker on the side And how exactly was your "engine practically fried"? IMO you just for using the word "NOS"

Hey hey hey.. from personal experience I will say that, when I spray from 2nd on up I run 14.6ish at 99 MPH (can't break 100) When I spray in first, even though I incinerate tires in 1st and 2nd (I'm not talkin wheel hop or a little peeping, I'ts like I'm trying to impress some honda ricers by doing a burnout!) I run between 14.1 and 14.2's at 100.8-101.6 MPH.
So spraying first even on street tires does take about 1/2 second off my time and adds a few MPH, even though when I spray first and the tires spin like that it honestly feels like I'm running a crappy time, those are the results on paper and it's not a fluke.

Can't wait to get some light rims for the front with some nice beefy slicks on em

What rpm do you launch at??? That is slow for only not spraying in first. I am automatic, so it is a bit different to launch, but with a manual, you should be able to roll out at 4K, and should be shifting quick. I've seen people run 2.00 60ft on the motor with manual, if you spray after shifting, it should pull hard through the rest of the track. I have to leave at a much lower rpm because of the auto, and the 60 ft suffers.

what kinda shot are you running in first? i wouldnt run anything bigger than a 50 shot in 1st other wise control will be an issue. I'm planning on getting an NX kit soon. i wanna run a 75 shot tho, first is over so fast i just want more up top power. Is there still issue of wheel spin in 2nd with 75 shot on street tires? EDIT:auto maxy

On motor, my best launch was 2.16, with nitrous on slicks, I only ran 2.00, but was spinning because I didn't heat them up enough. I am going to put the juice back on, and get to the track later this year. I have been building a Mustang all winter, and I am trying to get it tuned right. I will have to beg the fastest maxima owner, Mardigras to let me use his slicks since I sold them to him.

Silly front wheel drive cars. j/k.
Maybe put some of that money into suspension and good tires too.
