Nitrous Discuss dry, wet, and direct port nitrous setups. How many shots can you handle?

Well, I'm going to do it again.

Well, I'm going to do it again.

I have decided that I will put the nitrous back in the car. I am going to do a 2 stage system again, but this time I'm going to make it a little more custom. I put the cool can back in the car last week for the fuel. My mustang is done and on the road so I have backup again. I really miss being able to run a Corvette in the Maxima.

How difficult is it to do a 2 stage system? Do I need to buy another NX kit and install it on another switch or something?

No you dont need to buy another kit. There are several ways of setting up a two stage, you need another fuel solonoid and another nitrous solonoid wired to a seperate switch/button from ur current one. then get another T and provide fuel to the fuel solonoid, and get another bottle or T on the current bottle to provide nitrous to the new solonoid, ofcourse you need new lines, from bottle to solonoid and from solonoids to nozzle(gotta get a 2nd nozzle). this is how i think a 2 stage is set up. Well if you think about it, yea you somewhat need to buy another kit, but im sure companies like NX offer packages just to upgrade to 2stage.

I actually am running a weird system. I am doing a 80 shot dry, and 150 wet. You do not need to buy 2 kits, just an extra solenoid, or two for wet, second nozzle, second switch, relay, Y's for fuel and nitrous. You need the relay so only one system can work at any one time. I wire mine so the 80 shot no longer gets power when you turn on the 150 shot.
