Correct spark plug gap question

I was wondering if anyone can tell me what the correct gap is for the plugs on an 02 max w/75shot BTW 2 step colder plugs if that matters. Thanks I tried searching but could not find.

.035 is a good place to start, IMHO......

If you're not sure gap them to stock, do a run, and
see if they blow out; If they do, gap them down by .002 or something.

Or get a crane or msd box

Did they give you a reason as to why you cant regap them?

*Edit* I just received my new spark plugs today and I guess NisMo Max was correct. On the invoice it says " DO NOT GAP IRIDIUM PLUGS, YOU WILL SNAP THE CENTER ELECTRODE"

I gapped two sets of iridium plugs when I was trying them w/nitrous. Set the plug in a vise, tap down on the steel ground strap and use a feeler gauge between taps - don't leave the gauge in while closing down the gap - this way you never touch the center electrode. Worked fine to close the gap to .035.... I melted the grounds and several center electrodes w/150-shot, and gave up on iridium plugs.

I went on to the cheapo copper/steel plugs (two steps colder) and had my best runs with those when I cut down the ground electrodes on each plug and gapped them to the side of the center electrode.
