Sounds like you have an idea, but do yourself a favor and read as much of this (including links)http://forums.maxima.org/showthread.php?t=167453 as possible then if you still have questions im sure we will all be glad to help..........
I agree, just read through the link provided above and get a basic understanding of everything about nitrous and our car. but for a quick answer, any size shot can damage your engine no matter how small it is, even a 35shot can damage your engine if you dont know what your doing. Under properly working conditions a nitrous setup can be used to about 75shot without having to worry alot about damaging your ending. or maybe a 50 or 55shot to be more on safe side.
when ur done reading it... there is a buddy of mine on sr20forum, he has the nx dry kit with purge and remote bottle opener... hes selling the kit for $325 + shipping. Its a good deal when ur ready to spray and ill ask him. He is actually in Buffalo Grove, IL

NX kit is the way to go. especially if you get the Genx kit with it.genx2 is a waste of money in my opininion.. unless you actually like to purge...

Unless you want to call Vin Diesel up and have him help you change your piston rings after every nitrous spray and risk having pistons come through your hood stay away. Ah, dont forget to double clutch also!
Just joking.. Dont believe anything you see or hear on TV about nitrous man
If your engine is in good shape now, nitrous won't hurt it. Just make sure all your sensors are good. Knock sensor and o2 sensors, and make sure your coils (things that go onto the spark plugs) are good.
Get the NX wet kit and start and stick with a 75 shot. Don't waste your time with the 35 or 50 shot, because guranteed after you hit 35 or 50 shot one time you will want more and put the 75 in.
Read as much as you can tonite and order the NX wet kit in the stickie tomorrow. Read the manual that comes with it and check their website then install it. Put the car in 2nd gear, slow down to 35 mph and hit the juice.
Never spray lower then 3k rpms (unless your in 1st, then you can spray whenever you want)
Your car wont break apart and everything isn't going to get blurry when you hit nitrous like it does in the movies. your car will simply accelerate a bit faster and it will sound as smooth and the same as it does when you floor it without nitrous, just it will rev and go a little faster.
NX says you can do a 20 shot for every cylinder without causing noticible wear to the engine. So a 75 shot is perfect. Get 2 step colder copper spark plugs ($1.15 each) If you need some pics or help setting it up just check the forums and stickies, and if you really get stuck send me a PM and I can provide some pics and advice. I'm not an expert or anything but I have ran into a few issues and have used quite a bit of nitrous over the past 8 months or so. Hope this is helpful.

yea smotz put it pretty good listen to him. also when you get the nx kit, read the lil manual it comes with, it explains alot of things or u can even get it on their website. It even tells you to not listen to ur friends, magazines about nitrous lol. like on my sig below. So just follow directions, search this nitrous forum and then ask questions and you should be good. pz
Ya for sure. The car is already in the 13's I just havent been able to get enough traction to prove it
haha
