ZEX Triple FireT Spark Plugs specifically for nitrous...thoughts?

This is a brand new in the box ZEX Turbo / Nitrous Spark Plugs (SET OF SIX).

C56-82003-6

ZEX™ engineers realized early on that factory style spark plug designs are very prone to detonation in nitrous and forced induction engines. Factory style spark plugs tend to have a high heat range and a long ground strap. This is fine for stock combustion pressures and temperatures, but it is very dangerous in a nitrous or forced induction performance engine. Under nitrous use or boost, factory style spark plugs tend to overheat in just a few seconds. This overheating causes the spark plug ground strap and center electrode to turn into a "glow plug". This condition causes air and fuel in the combustion chamber to pre-ignite and detonate, causing engine damage. ZEX™ is the only nitrous system manufacturer with specific spark plugs manufactured for the unique requirements that nitrous and forced induction engines have. ZEX™ Hyperformance Spark Plugs have an optimal heat range and ground strap design that maximizes the safety and performance of your nitrous or forced induction engine.

Why ZEX™ Hyperformance™ Spark Plugs outperform any other plug:

* Triple ground electrode for more efficient combustion
* Excellent heat dissipation for improve nitrous and turbo performance
* Pre-gapped for performance applications
* Super Range nickel ground electrode with copper core center
* Specifically designed and developed for nitrous and turbo applications

Of course this all sounds great, but has anybody used these yet? Besides being one step colder (I believe, although not sure), how would these affect NA performance?

my roommate with through 8 of them on his integra in a week. his car is professionally tuned and had a wideband hooked up through all of it. zex told him it was his fault and wouldnt replace them. now he runs cheap ngk coppers with no problems and many 12 second passes. i will never put those in my car.

Exactly what happened to them? To his car?

nothing happend to his car as he has a built motor capable of a lot more than he ever throws at it. the spark plugs broke the ceremic surround around the metal part in the plug.

There's another way to do it, with a NGK plug. This is one of mine, two steps colder plug, with cut grounds and side-gapped to .035.

These have lived through an entire season of 150-shot passes ( 50+ runs) with no problems. Of course I use real race fuel as well - Sunoco 104 or VP Fuels Street Blaze 103 octane. And they're still $1.50 each...

I wouldnt recommend using zex plugs. I've heard nothing but bad things about them. just use NGK's
