Dual vs Progressive

i can get both for the same price, what are the pros and cons of both. ive thought of most of them but i dont really know anything about dual stages. do you just run two completly different nitrous systems or what exactly?

The dual NX system has a common tank, heater, pressure gauge, and feed line up to the engine compartment.

There are two sets of solenoids, relays, spray nozzles and nitrous/fuel lines for each nozzle. Each set can be activated (sprayed) independently.

The good thing about dual-stage is that the driver is in charge of spraying.

The bad thing is that the driver is in charge of spraying. You gotta know what you're doing and when to use the stages.

I don't know anything about the various progressive systems. Dual-stage is confusing enough for me.

since i have the one kit on my car already, would it be better to use an entire seperate system or get another set of noids and lines? my roommate just blew up his car and wants to get rid of his kit for cheap so i have that option.

Unless you like a crowded trunk, I would start with getting a couple of "Y" connectors for nitrous and fuel, and use the solenoids, relay, lines and nozzle from the roommate's kit.

If you're spraying a Sentra, keep the shot-level down, or two kits will be for sale.

Ohhhh....... this sounds interesting! You really want to do something to cut spray before fuel-cut, however you manage your VQ35. I use a MSD 8969 RPM switch. D*mn - a VQ in a Sentra.

Pictures ! Pictures! Pictures !

Dual-stage spray isn't that much more difficult than single-stage nitrous. You really need to spend some time thinking about how to switch both stages.

Personally, I spray first-stage with a WOT switch, and second-stage with a floor-mounted group of PB switches in a shallow switch box. Stomp-and-spray. If you let up on the throttle, both stages are cut off. Nothing is enabled until I turn on the bottle heater, as well. Then there is race-gas, cut-ground spark plugs, and my Voltage BOOSTA to keep your gap open.

... a Sentra. Wow.

EDIT: I just found your Photobucket photos. Wow. Is it automatic or manual tranny? Where are your slicks ? You gotta need slicks, right?

For controlling a dual stage set up, I'd recommend this...

http://www.dynotunenitrous.com/store...?idproduct=194

I have one of these controllers and it works GREAT! The quality of dynotunes' products is awesome. I'd have to say that it's much better than NX, IMHO.

I've bought a few DynuTune products and had great luck with them. That control box sounds like it would be a great setup for single or dual stage.
