What do you guys think I will run with a 100 wet shot, bottle warmer, 6 speed hlsd, greddy catback, berk intake, toyo proxes 4s, fidanze flywheel, spec stage 3 clutch?

I ran a 15 flat with bald tires and the intake and catback. But I had a hard time launching.

Maybe I missed it, but you need a Y-pipe beside the catback, and some sticky wide tires on the car. You'll find out why when you hit a 100-shot off the line - and lack of traction bars will make your life interesting...

You have great potential there - but sneak up on the nitrous with a 35-shot, then up to 50-shot and 75-shot. You need to learn how to use it.

I have a window switch that is set to 3k. I upgraded to 235s and toyo proxes. I dont see how the y pipe would affect it that much ?

Think bigger tires:

http://i48.photobucket.com/albums/f2...3/Dscn1399.jpg

and better exhaust:

http://i48.photobucket.com/albums/f2...3inchfront.jpg

or headers:

http://i48.photobucket.com/albums/f2...s/Dscn2036.jpg

If you want to go fast... Otherwise, well, 15s are OK, I guess...

this is why
14.301 with a 75shot, tranny cooler, cai and 1step colder plugs
14.19 with a 75shot, y-pipe, 2.5 exhaust, plugs regapped to .038

right around a 75shot is were you will start to feel the choking up, it's very important that you have to free up the exhaust

and if you are planning to spray a 100shot I might want to start looking at a fuel pump upgrade also

This was my best run on the juice. Mods are I/Y/E, Short Shifter, Exedy Stage 2, Dynotune Wet 75 Shot, Bottle Heater. I had the bottle heated to 1000psi and street tires (sh*tty tires) set too 26psi. Lemme know what yall think.

R/T... .375
60'... 2.228
1/8... 8.986
MPH... 81.77
1000... 11.593
1/4... 13.802
MPH... 102.35

It was about 85 degrees outside and it was my first time at the track. Next time I go I should have a 00vi or 3.5L. Then Im sure things will be interesting. What are yalls thoughts on what bottle pressure should be?

I know I need bigger tires, but till I get a set of track rims these will do. Then slicks . I already sprayed a couple of times with the 100 shot and had the snap on comp hooked up to loook at o2 sensor readings and not once did the car run lean at all. If anything the pump compensated and the car ran a lil rich. ( pretty much like factory)

Either way what do you guys think I will do with the setup I am running?

With sticky tires, and considering you can drive, with 100 shot and your mods, id say your in the MID 13's EASY.

I have a question for some guys here... Can the VQ35 take a 100shot WET ?

I guess it depends on how good condition and how old the fuel pump is. On my 03 it handles the 100 shot fine as I stated above. If I hit mid 13s I will be happy....hopefully with the new tires and motor mounts I will be able to get a much better 60'.

my best time is a 13.96 and 101.5 my mods at the time were a NX wet set up for a 75 shot, GAB, Ypipe, 2.5" catback, and spec stage II clutch. i was on my 215 all season tires and got a really bad 60ft. it was a 2.4
i now have headers, lightweight flywheel, stage III clutch, LSD tranny, better suspension, and still crappy tires. when i put the nitrous back on it will be for a 100 shot.
oh yeah i have a walbro 255 in the gas tank with a paxton FPR

I'm betting it will. I'm building a cammed 3.5 with extras, headers, 2-stage spray like on my 3.0 (RIP x 3).

Who knows? But - if a 3300 lb stock 3.0 with automatic and dual-stage nitrous can pull a 13.158 and a bunch of 13.2s, with a computed 276 HP to the wheels, then what can a cammed 3.5 with say 230 wheel-HP plus another 150-shot of nitrous manage to do? Personally, I think I could have dropped into the 12s with the last 3.0 and the OBX headers, but the stocker broke a piston. Bah.

I'm gonna try this one NA for a bit - see if it runs good - then ramp up the nitrous - gently. If it's cr*p, I'll do another one. I'm getting the hang of assembling these VQs now - complicated buggers. I just finished up adapting a Pathy TB to the VQ35 mainifold and welding up a dual-cable mount for throttle and cruise. Also got the new one-step-colder plugs, cut grounds and gapped to .035 and installed with anti-seize on the threads. Only things left are the front cover and lower oil pan.

It should be - interesting -....
.

From: Auburn WA,
14.2 @99mph with a 50 shot.

I ran with heavy **** 20" infiniti wheels, subs and amp in trunk, and lots of other junk in car.
Mods include headers, intake, full custom exhaust with no cats.
Found out my fuel jet was clogged and was running dangerously lean.

I would say if you hit 13's your first time out you are doing good. Take out some weight and practice launching

Best ET with nitrous is a 13.94 with a NX 50 shot wet, ypipe, DRs and intake.
