This car doesn't have nitrous.............

Or does it........

Brackets are welded, zip-ties are just extra precaution, 3k+ miles later no problems and I drive hard and over bumpy roads all the time

The I30 gas door makes a NASTY purge button, the heated seat switch is (edit- now my arming switch, HID reverse lights are now wired through a relay via my fog light switch)
Running a 75 shot, and even without warming up the bottle the stock replacement clutch want's nothing to do with it, I can spray once or twice all the way through 2nd and 3rd but I get minor slip below 4k, after doing a few runs it starts to slip to the point I can't spray. Oh well, looks like i will have to get some 2-step colder plugs (stocks gapped at .035" right now) side gapped, I have a fuel pump already, and after a clutch and that stuff goes in I am hoping to run a 150+ w/electric cutouts on each manifold downtube. I've realized this will require me to use my I30's crossmember (has mounts) and some slicks, should be fun I'm definitly pissed though that I can't even dyno this thing on juice as it is, and considering I have a 00vi on the way, yeah I won't be putting up dynos anytime soon

Thanks. Unfortunatly for some stupid stupid reason when I wired power to my passanger seat I mixed up the wire colors, red was ground black was +, and I used those wires to power my MSD digital window switch and my zex tps thingy, unfortunatly neither of them had reverse polarity protection, a nice $250 mistake.

Very quickly, once I take the top part of the airbox off it's very easy to get at.

But soon enough I won't be switching jets, after the whole reverse polarity incident I'm now using a pushbutton So I figured instead of getting another tps box (I refuse to use a micro switch) and window switch, I might as well get a progressive controller that has those features. I found two, I'm torn between these two, the NX one is obviously alot nicer, and the fact that it is fully programmable without connecting to a laptop me likes, but it's hard to swallow the extra $200 pricetag:

Cometic Nox Box 2

NX Nitrous Express 15535 Progressive Nitrous Controller

What do you guys think?

Also, my bottle is empty and it's Sunday I feel like a crackhead, I need my hit.

Does the FJO take tps and tach inputs I thought that was pretty nice and like $700 new, at least the one I was looking at the other day, must look into this. I has laptop ...... and paypal..... and vlsd now that I picked up a 6-speed.....

****ing stupid son of a *****. Got the bottled filled today, had a BLAST on the highway sprayed like 6 or 7 times and the clutch was loving it as much as my buddy in the passanger seat who used to have a 100 shot on his saturn.

Than 1/2 hour later I went to my car and heard a faint psssshhhhhh coming from... yup, the driverside fenderwell. I was so bull**** because I had the bottle open. stupid stupid stupid.

Ouch - I'm paying $4.50 per lb....

Hummm - I wonder if there is a business opportunity here in bottling Canadian air and reselling it. Everybody knows that Canadian air is 20% nitrous. Maybe set up a bottling station just south of the border and bottle their air when the wind is from the north? Minot, North Dakota, isn't very crowded.......

$7/lb? OUCH! I thought $3/lb was a tad expensive and I didn't like it when the prices went up to $3.50/lb. I found a guy that sells it for $2.50, but it's a good hour away from me and it didn't justify my wasted gas money and time.

I'm use to paying about $25 for a fill up of 7lbs or so. I haven't filled up in quite a while though. But I doubt the price has gotten above $4/lb in my area.

No, but I had a can of gloss black paint with a flat black cover, lol.

Fixed the leak, it was the capped off fitting on the other side of the selenoid that I never touched, I've been using some arp thread sealer, it's a teflon paste and so far I think it's the bomb.

Also hooked up the retarded zex bottle heater, wired up the switches better/different, painted all the selenoids and stuff in the wheel-well + that fuel line flat black, and found out last night that my msd window DOES work after following the advice of the tech guy to try it on a different car.

I hit that button on the way to and from NYC at least 15 times, I love this stuff.

I agree, it's a GREAT spot. So far I've had two very very minor leaks, and they were both in that area. It was nice knowing that they were able to be quickly diluted and nowhere near hot *** manifolds or any hot chemicals that might have had a low enough flash point or in the vicinity of a pre-existing fire. It's straight there, and I am going to build a sheet-metal liner for it since the regular liner doesn't cover **** and I don't want it getting all sorts of road salt on it this winter.

So I found out that my emergency pressure relief valve does work, I can presume it released at 3k psi as intended.

So here's the story: I open up my zex bottle heater from it's box, I got it on e-bay and of course it comes with NOTHING. No info whatsoever, gee that's nice, a draw would be nice. So I look at the wires, and say "WTF, these are like 22 gauge ALUMINUM wire, this thing must be SOOOOOO *****. So I assume it is ***** and it doesn't have **** for amperage draw & that I can use it on the circuit for my power antenna, which has a constant 12v on afaik unused 10 amp circuit, but no dice, it is on a circuit used by the rest of the radio and it immediatly pops the fuse, I say gee that's odd, the wires zex used are clearly ghey and undersized then. So I run it on its own circuit and low and behold, after what I can presume is it getting up to temp the assembly gets WHICKED noisy. So I say, **** this thing, I ripped it out of the trunk while having the bottle filled and said "I'm all set with this thing".

So of course I have a nice full bottle, and before putting it in the car I'm like "I'm kinda pheining, I want to get a nice hit, I'm going to warm this thing up". So I thought it would be cool if I wrapped it around the bottle and heated it up outside of the car where I could keep an eye on it. So I do that, and checked on it twice quickly and at one point the heater was back off so I thought all was cool, apparantly the t-stat was functioning as normal. So I was inside the office, forgot about the bottle and was doing a couple shots of my other preferred liquid. Well about 15 minutes goes by from the last time I checked on it, and apparantly the thermostat on this one failed worse than teh bawney. PWOOOOOOOOOOOOSSSSSSSSSSSSHHHHHHH. I had a little panick attack, **** my life flashing before my eyes- instead I tried to think of the location of every nearby fire extinguisher. Of course they were all near the bottle that was still venting away to the point it froze the most recent coat of paint off! So I oppened up the bay doors while saying "Did that REALLY just happen.

So 2 questions:

1: Are these valves one time use, it looks like it closed back up?

2: The lack of ANY distinguishable odor, like no smell whatsoever, no nothing no irritant to the skin, eyes, nose, or nothing rotten smelling whatsoever: Does this mean my nitrous doesn't have sulfer dioxide added? That would make the $7/lb not so bad.

1. I believe so, but not sure.
2. The one and only time I've played around with nitrous (ran around AAM spraying people, needed to empty a bottle) it was completely odorless (and tasteless...don't ask).

From my experience, nitrous ive seen being used, is odorless and tasteless. My freind purged the nitrous just as i was looking at his brakes..

Thanks Manny, It helps that I have a stock intake and a peice of wiring holding up my radiator/fans for the ultimate sleeper look. Once I complete all of the other stuff in the upcoming months it will be even more fun, the ****ty exhaust will probably stay but with electric cutouts, clutch, fuel-pump, '00vi is being held up because I ordered an intake for my moms I35 so I can MAKE the 5,5 gen one work in my car to keep the stealth look to those who don't know whats up.

Please do, and thanks for asking but I'm not exactly a member who gives a **** about stuff like that, good info is good info, post it up.

Coming up soon I'm going to take the fender off, and weld a box around the strut and make some sheetmetal up that will completely cover up the selenoids, I tried the stock splashield and it doesn't cover **** for protection from snow.
