okay, so i finally have access to a consult scanner i need to retard my timing, i'm pretty sure the stock timing on a vq30 is 15 BTDC, and from what i've read the basic rule of thumb is -2 BTDC, so i should put it it 17 BTDC?

i'm just making sure before i do it so i don't mess anything up

also btw im running a 75 wet shot, if that makes any difference

The timing changes will be deleted once you shut off your car if you are using a consult. The 4th gen ECU does not keep the changes made by consult. Why retard your timing? I never touched timing and I went through 20 bottles at 75 shot and I was tracking the car at the drag track. Put the nitrous on at 150k miles, took it off at 170k miles and not one problem. Leave the timing alone man. If it is important, buy an emanage or other tuning unit.

Just dont spray when your gas light is on and you will be fine. The fuel jet is plenty big to allow your car to stay around the right tune.
