Iwanna try to use a 05 maxima intake Manifold the one with the egr built into it .. For direct port nitrous any one done that before?

 

Since the EGR tunnel at the bottom of the manifold has openings into each intake runner, and the EGR system inserts exhaust gases into the runners, spraying nitrous into each runner seems kinda dangerous. Nitrous + fuel + hot exhaust = ???

It's easy to get a 2002-2003 manifold instead, but you'd need to block off the EGR system. Of couse if emissions are important to you, that might not work well either.
