I am in the market for an SLR and have only been eying the XTi and 30D for the past weeks. I would have jumped on this if the price was better. The price you posted is pretty normal with a slight hassle (ex:10% ebay coupon).
Whats the warranty? Are you or where you got it from a Canon auth seller?
