wtb: Accord,Civic,maxima for 2G's
he's most likely gonna get a high mileage max or one with some problems for that amount of $$. I think he might be better off gettin that civic. i'd check www.hondaforums.com or www.urbanracer.com (the BEST classifieds for honda cars or parts)
Not mine but http://newyork.craigslist.org/brk/car/316263277.html
I have a really good running Max for sale for $1500 although it is a 3rd gen (1994).
Has 138,000 Miles on the SOHC VG30E 3.0 Liter Engine
Has 8,000 Miles on the transmission (Installed March of 06')
Engine runs like a TOP and pulls hard for a VG (Not as much power as the VQ, but the most dependable engine Nissan makes in my book)
Interior is in pretty good condition but has a few stains, nothing major.
Exterior is mostly in good condition but needs a new passenger side fender as I was clipped by a trailer on my way to school one morning, damage is strictly cosmetic.
Exhaust and exhaust manifold studs are all perfect (Florida car, so no salty winters)
Car just needs a few things like an o2 sensor, master window control switch (windows will all roll down from the switch, but wont roll up) and needs 2 new speakers in the back.
That's basically all I can think of, but it's a damn good car, treated me well especially with the new tranny.
Pics upon request...
edit: woops... sorry, just read it must be a stick. Hah, well I'll still leave this up here since VG-5's are pretty common in junkyards for swaps...
