Head unit is 3-4 years old, only been installed once, and never had any problems.

Faceplate is in great shape as is the rest of the unit. One wire (the remote turn on wire) is crimped together because it was wired to my amplifier.

Included is a full Maxima wiring harness that made the unit completely plug and play with my 3rd gen. I'm not too sure if all Maximas share the same harness, so to be safe I will say that it's a 3rd gen (non-bose, dunno if it matters) wiring harness.

edit - Yeah it must be an adaptor, I don't remember too well what I bought at the time but it's definitely plug and play for the third gen.
