Buy a stick that you plan to keep, learn on it. Don't buy some cheap crap car that may not even have proper clutch engagement and shifting.

ehh it's not so bad...

seriously you're not going to damage a car by learning to drive stick on it though

if you let like 10 people learn then it's probably a different story, but there's not much more stress on it than just driving it hard.

i learned stick in a 93 RX-7. Suprisingly forgiving for such a sporty car. Like they said you wont hurt the car. Not through the shifting and learning anyway.

Probably cuz 1) it was non turbo and pretty slow, or 2) something was wrong with the turbos and/or you never got into boost. :stfu:

They dont make a FD that isnt TT. Not from the factory anyway =] The stock clutch setups in those are fairly easy and idiot friendly. I upgraded the clutch a few months later. As for boost the first time i experienced that was in a kmart parking lot when i was 13, the second time i was allowed to drive it. Yea, thank god it was a parking lot LOL.

I REALLY miss that car.
